DeckSim is a companion utility to DeckCtrl,
it provides an interface that simulates the RS422 remote control functions of VTRs.The
intended use of the program is with PC based video servers, where there is a requirement
to emulate some basic functions of a conventional VTR.
The DeckSim is in the form of a DLL and uses callback functions to keep the host
application informed of incoming commands. Similarly the host application uses methods
exported by the DLL to keep the timecode, status etc. up to date.
